Established in 1983 by Mr Narothamdas Chanillo, Anchor Offshore Services Ltd, positioned itself as a service provider and spare parts supplier to ONGC LTD - a wholly owned company of the Govt.of India and one of our major clients.
Having begun operations with a small team, we have today grown to be a significant workforce of nearly 500 personnel, with a turnover of over US$60 million (2009-10)
Gradually, we have ventured into knowledge based engineering support to ONGC and other customers, in the following areas:
- Execution of large turnkey projects involving multidisciplinary engineering activities including pre-engineering survey, fabrication, installation and commissioning on offshore platforms / rigs
- Design, supply and erection of modular accommodation, modular galley and modular wet units of marine ships (especially Indian Navy ships) and offshore installations
- Hook-up services, revamping and modification jobs on offshore platforms / rigs
- Annual maintenance contracts and engineering consultancy
- Local support to various international bidders for projects in the fields of oil & gas, refinery and power projects in India
We have our own workshop in Mumbai, fitted with modern equipment and tools to undertake a range of fabrication and overhauling services for offshore and maritime projects. With a massive expansion underway, our workshop will have 25,000 sq ft of space and state-of-the-art facilities by the end of 2011.

Our wide experience in Marketing, Project Management, Procurement and Operations enables us to effectively meet client expectations and requirements.
Our expansion plans - as a part of our business strategy for future growth, include diversifying to provide drilling equipment and services for onshore projects, fields yet unexplored by us.
